How big are the babies now? From head to bottom, they measure around 3 1/2 inches long and weigh about 1 1/2 ounces and about the size of a lemon!
What are the babies up to this week? This week, the babies can now squint, frown, grimace, pee and possibly suck their thumbs!
Maternity clothes? Still wearing maternity clothes... as you can see, the belly is getting bigger and harder to fit into regular clothes anymore!
Stretch Marks? Still none yet. Continuing my belly routine of cocoa butter in the morning and Vitamin E oil at night. Hoping it helps!
Sleep? I slept a solid 12 hours last night and could totally go take a nap right now! I'm not sure when this energy boost from the second trimester comes, but its not here yet!
Miss Anything? I am starting to miss not being able to dinner at night!
Feeling movement yet? Not yet, but hopefully in the next few weeks! Ahhh cant wait!
Swelling? my feet have grown so much that I had to get new shoes after purchasing some a few months ago! No one warned me about my feet growing! wouldn't say they are swollen yet though!
Cravings? Rice Krispy Treats and a big glass of milk! and Cereal!
Food Aversions? I still find it very hard to eat anything past about 7pm and if it has a lot of flavor or smells strong in any way, I cant eat it! Still hard to eat meat!
Started showing? umm yes! although I am told I don't look like it in my scrubs!
Gender? A boy and a girl!!!!! Garrett and Alyssa :)
Mood? Very happy right now!
Looking forward to? June 18, next ultrasound to see the babies! And registering next week!
Praying specifically for? Continued health with both babies and to be able to keep them in until 37 weeks! And to be able to work as long as possible so we can save up!
I have been following your journey. I am so happy for y'all. And the no meat, I couldn't stand the smell of hamburger meat cooking. It will be that way for a while after they are born too. :). I also craved cereal, any kind any brand. Lol. Praying for continued good heatlth. :)
ReplyDeleteMy aversion to meat has gotten a TON better over the past couple of weeks, but I still can't do BBQ! So maybe there is hope for you and meat! :-) And as for the energy burst, I started feeling more like myself around 17 weeks (instead of feeling like I had been at Six Flags every day), and have had a "normal" amount of energy since around 20ish weeks. I'm still waiting for those real energy bursts everyone talks about!! haha So excited for you and that things are going great!! -Katie
